This piece is roughly 20cm x 10cm, and has been created using a variety of contemporary glasses. It comes complete with a small tube which fits a single flower stem or plant cutting comfortably. The bright, slightly textured yellows and ambers of the sunbeams are offset with a finely patterned clear glass that whilst not terribly visible in photograph, distorts its background just enough so as to bring an added element of interest. The wooden base has been hand prepared to fit securely, and is suitable for placement indoors on desks... windowsills... or other spaces where it will catch the light.
