I created this piece for one of those quiet corners that needs a bit of life.

It’s built in layers, much like a real garden, starting with warm, earthy ochre tones to give the painting a grounded, sun-baked feel.

The pinks are the real heart of the painting. I wanted them to feel like that sudden, energising "pop" of a spring bloom - from a soft, dusty rose to a deep, confident magenta that feels like a bold "hello" when you walk into the room.

If you look closer, you’ll find the linework. These are the fine, hand-drawn details of leaves and seed pods that give the painting its tapestry feel. I’ve tucked in tiny gold spirals and secret patterns that only reveal themselves when the light catches them just right - like finding a hidden treasure in the undergrowth.
