Mini Nature Weaving Kit with two handmade wooden looms for double the eco-friendly fun!

 The idea for these tiny looms is that your nature weaving remains on the looms and they can be displayed by popping them on a shelf, window sill or anywhere you choose. Find little botanical pieces from your garden or on a nature walk and gently weave them onto the loom. Interesting leaves, small plant cuttings, flowers and even found bird feathers work well. Nature / botanical weaving is like a combination of random weaving and ikebana. Think of the loom as the vessel to hold your nature display. It can be neat or wild and wacky. After a time the botanical bits and pieces will wilt and need changing (just like fresh cut flowers in a vase) which gives you the opportunity to have fun and keep making more. Once ready to make a new weaving gently remove the wilted pieces and start again. This little weaving kit is suitable for all ages and is a fun activity to do with children. The two looms included are already threaded ready to go (with extra twine provided for when they need re-threading). The kit would also make a lovely gift for crafty nature loving friends and family.

The kit includes:

x 2 mini wooden looms (size 10.5cm high, 7.5cm wide and 2cm depth)

x 1 bamboo spool of approx. 2 metres of twine for threading the looms.

x 2 wood loom sticks (weaving needles) *these aren’t necessary for nature weaving but are included should you wish to do some fibre weaving*
