Delicately woven medicine pouch, made from 100% locally harvested, native plants - Bangalow palm and Juncus reeds. Each pouch is created slowly and intentionally - often taking hours to complete.
Fibres are harvested from the lands and waterways in which I live (on the traditional lands of the Gumbaynggirr people, NSW) - and are never taken without permission from the lands and plants themselves.
Each step of the weaving process (the harvesting, drying, processing and weaving) is done with full reverence to these plants - and when placed around the neck, their energy and medicine can be felt.
Pouches range slightly in size - but are roughly 12cm x 6cm - perfect for those feathers, stones and bones (or any other medicine item you feel called to work with).
All pouches come with a long cordage handle (also made from Bangalow palm) - long enough to hang around the neck, close to the heart!
