Nulu will be your forever friend. If you are looking for an artisan created owl that no-one else in the world will own, then this owl is for you.
The fur has been chosen personally by me and I purchase only enough to create a unique bear. The owl is a one of a kind artist owl entirely made by me here in Melbourne using materials sourced from Australian suppliers.
The owl took me 5 days to create. Nulu has been created using a thick plush white fur and thick plush Black fur tipped with white and is a one of a kind owl (bear). His nose and feet have been created using faux leather and the glass eyes have been embellished with a polymer clay eye socket. Nulu has been shaded by hand to give lovely large black eyes.
Everyone of the seams have been sewn by hand, except for the beak and feet, taking over 40 hours to create. The owl has been lightly weighted in the belly to help it sit well and the neck joint means his head can swivel 360 degrees for realistic owl poses. The wings are weighted with glass beads so that they remain in place.
I am filled with ecofill fiberfill, and the unbelievable softness of my fur needs to be stroked to be appreciated.
Please Note that these bears are designed to be Adult Collectables and
not intended for infants and young children due to small parts and
potential for damage. The owl cannot be machine washed due to the wooden joints.
