Illusion- a design that intrigues and provides different views from every angle. I loved to create the design using Fiberworks software, that gives you the opportunity to design on the computer instead of using graph paper and then transfer the design into a two colour warp and weave on my 8 shaft Ashford floor loom. Using Australian Merino Superwash yarn, this wrap is soft and easy to look after. Lightweight but warm, it is the ideal travel companion!
Both scarves are 55cm x 165cm, a good size to wrap yourself in!
To look after your scarf- easy! When you need to wash your shawl, you can either put it into your washing machine on wool wash cycle or quickly handwash it! Then let it dry out of the sun.
I handwashed the shawls, then rolled them in a big bath towel to get the excess water out and let them dry over the clothes dryer on top of a dry towel.
