This reversible toy begins as an egg and flips inside out to reveal a tiny baby crocodile. Children love the magical transformation as the egg turns into a playful hatchling.
Each crocodile is carefully hand knitted using Ella Rae Eco Tweed yarn, a beautiful natural yarn made from 75% organic merino wool and 25% polyamide. The head and tail are lightly filled with a small amount of polyester stuffing to give gentle shape while keeping the toy soft and lightweight.
Every piece is handmade slowly and thoughtfully. One baby crocodile takes approximately 3.5 hours to knit, making each one a small labour of love.
Measurements
The crocodile measures approximately 14 cm in length, and the egg measures approximately 8 cm.
Each toy is individually handmade, so slight variations may occur. This is part of the beauty of handmade pieces.
Care
Spot clean when possible. If needed, gently hand wash in cool water using a mild wool detergent. Reshape and lay flat to dry.
Merino wool is naturally breathable and odour resistant, so the toy usually only needs occasional cleaning.
