This is an original, handmade ceramic cup that was wheel thrown from fine porcelain clay. Because I make each of my items by hand this 12oz mug is unique and would make a perfect gift for Mother's Day, gift for birthdays, housewarming, weddings and anniversaries, or any special occasion.
This lovely cup will bring joy to the coffee lover in your life every time they use it. The handle is comfortable and secure to hold. The overall weight of the cup is quite light and feels delicate yet is durable and strong - thanks to the qualities of fine porcelain!

** Process:
This item was wheel thrown with Australian porcelain clay. While the item was 'leather hard' I carved a hand drawn illustration of cheerful pears into the surface - top, bottom, inside - inlayed and painted with underglazes, and bisque-fired in the kiln to 1000C. A clear, zinc free and food safe glaze was applied and the items were re-fired in the kiln to 1220C.
** Delivery:
I always prefer to use clean recycled and repurposed packaging when possible to ship my pieces. Rest assured your piece will be packaged carefully and double boxed when shipped. I ship within Australia, and internationally, and additional delivery charges are applicable for shipment outside of Australia.
