Description
Crochet daisies and ladybird tea cosy for a medium teapot. Made by me near Bellingen on the mid north coast of NSW.
Made from good quality turquoise blue acrylic yarn as the base and 100% cotton for the daisies, leaves and ladybird.
The spout and handle opening are universal so the teacosy can be placed either way. The base of the teacosy has been made so it is quite stretchy. Hat elastic has been crocheted into the base to accommodate this stretchiness.
Designed to be easily pulled on and off a variety of shaped pots which makes it an ideal gift for someone with less nimble fingers. Can stretch quite wide but would not fit a large round teapot.
Size is approximately 14 cm high and 15 cm wide without stretching.
Suitable for a roundish to oblong teapot.
