These beautiful stained glass suncatchers have a pewter fairy with the prettiest glass wings, she is holding a tiny crystal. Her hanging thread is beaded with iridescent seed beads and colourful little glass beads.
A beautiful gift or something special just for you, she will brighten any corner, in the window or on a wall, inside or a sheltered position outside and with sunlight the crystal makes little sparkles on the wall and her iridescent wings throw amazing colours!

I love creating quirky, interesting and one-of-a-kind pieces, all my work is handcrafted by myself in my home studio.
Unlike many stained glass shops I don’t use an electric cutter preferring to stick as close as possible to the traditional Tiffany method each piece of glass is hand-cut with a pencil cutter and pliers, then copper-foiled and soldered. I've been working with stained glass for almost 20 years and take great pride in my art, I always work to a professional standard and use only the highest quality materials.
I have the most beautiful colours by handpicking every sheet of glass myself from a local Sydney supplier and use recycled glass from old windows when I can.

* solder on wings is lead-free, Fairy body is pewter containing a very small percentage of lead sealed with wax and polished and comes with care instructions. This is not a toy.
*All measurements are within 1 cm of the listing provided
*Iridescent glass has a shimmering reflective effect on one side only.
