About the Willie Wagtail:
These little black and white cuties have a long fanned tail that they wiggle while foraging. The are a fearless little songbird that stand up to much larger birds that come near their family. They build their webs from grass, spider webs, hair and fur and being very environmentally conscious, they re-use the materials for any running repairs.
They have a cheerful song, bundles of energy and a mischievous charm and can be found all over mainland Australia.

These earrings are designed, laser cut, hand painted and assembled personally by me in our little studio and workshop (aka converted front bedroom and lovely workshoppy space at the end of our garage) using Australian made blackwood ply, Australian made Sterling silver and non-toxic water-based acrylic paints.
