Paint with me? Recently I have been playing with a similar style in brighter colours, but in front of me, I have a more muted colour palette and it feels like just the right combination for a pop of colour, still bold but with restraint.
I begin with circles, changing colours and watching the circles merge at times, flowing into each other. I never quite know how the colour will flow. I continue the peaceful repetition of shape, more colour, smaller circles. The pop of red is exciting and captivating. The pink is gentle and subtle. Smaller circles to finish, the yellows add warmth and light.
Following the flow of confetti circles, the gold adds more lift and light and movement. The finished piece reminds me of confetti, and the motion is like a pop of champagne. Thus Confetti Pop!

Sealed with archival varnish to promote the longevity of the piece.
