Both mugs are hand thrown by me on my pottery wheel, trimming stage is when the handle is attached and dried carefully for several weeks.
The clay body used is a Special Fleck Stoneware, so after both firings are completed the ceramic has a very rustic feel.
These mugs have been glazed 3/4 with a stunning Satin Plum and I’ve left 1/3 unglazed showcasing the natural raw beauty of the clay.
Both mugs hold a generous 320ml capacity.
Easily cleaned in the dishwasher and are microwave safe too.
Food safe glaze used and fired to 1260 degrees Celsius.
