Description
Handcrafted from a beautiful solid piece of Tasmanian Myrtle, the hexagonal shape of this box showcases the end grain patterns in this timber. The lid is crafted from a piece of specially selected, highly figured wood. Extensive detail work enhances the beauty of this design and attentive hand sanding ensures a quality finish, both inside and out.
The lovely natural colour of the timber is preserved by finishing with two coats of premium clear lacquer. The interior bottom of the box has been lined with a cut to shape piece of wool felt, sourced from an Australian manufacturer, based in Melbourne. A handy little box for keeping small items organised. Great on a dresser or side table for jewellery pieces, hair pins and other small accessories. Useful in the home office for flash drives or small desk items like paperclips, pencil sharpeners, erasers etc.
