OLAF THE VIKING - Hand Knitted ART DOLL
Olaf is King of the Northlands, where he and his tribe rule supreme.
This doll is entirely handmade/handknitted, using a mixture of Pure Cotton (for the body), and Pure Wool (for his jacket and boots), with acrylic yarn (for his helmet and trousers).
He has a lovely vintage leather belt wrapped around his body, and his woollen tunic is enhanced with (vintage jewellery) golden medallions as leg protectors - from those pesky swords of the enemy!!
I have enhanced Olaf with an eclectic mix of vintage jewellery pieces, for his studded helmet and his armour. He also has a beautiful ceremonial weapon, which has been created using vintage pieces of metal (for the handle), sculptured bone (for the top piece), and a crystal on the end.
He is entirely stuffed with (new) acrylic fibrefill, and his eyes are plastic (safety) eyes.
Size: From top of helmet to base of boots - 23 inches (59 cm)
Sitting Height: 12 inches (21 cm)
